These are some of the folks enjoying Andres Bike Park on Tuesday evening. The jump lines are proving to be very popular with all the riders. They have been designed so that a beginner can roll over them and an advanced rider can jump them. The singletrack is still new and is more challenging to ride for a novice mountain biker. Over time these trails will settle down as more people ride them.
CAMBr, Carpentersville, and Andres Bike Park are in the news! The city of Carpentersville could soon be THE hub for cycling in the Northwest suburbs!
A $20,000 grant from REI will help members of the Chicago Area Mountain Bikers volunteer organization further their work at both Raceway Woods and Keith Andres Bike Park in Carpentersville.
Big thanks to all of our volunteers that made it out this weekend to help us prep for the bike jam! Some of you like Plainfield Bike Park and the group from Michigan made a serious trip to help us out! Next weekend is going to be a huge success for the park and for the community and it is because we have such great volunteers!
New feature built today. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped out
Join us at the park today in prep for next weekend. We will be working on both the bike park and the singletrack if we have enough folks. Starting 9am and probably running all day.
